Open a short time, the We All Rise African American Resource Center has already supported more than 2,000 people in Northeast Wisconsin
Talking about problems in the community is the first step for the Green Bay based We all Rise African American Resource Center. But talk is leading to leading to help.
“We are finding some residents are in need of skill-building. They may need an intro and support to get into the workforce,” We All Rise AARC Executive Director Robin Scott says. “No one should have to do this alone. We don’t heal in silos.”
The vision of We All Rise is to create and restore a vibrant African American community in Northeast Wisconsin. Scott describes it as an opportunity to support, celebrate, and uplift residents by targeting the causes leaving many living on the margins of society.
The nonprofit is fairly new, but has already created connections with .more than 2,000 people.
“It’s changing lives,” Scott says. “And it’s a sign of a healthy city moving forward.”
We All Rise offers more than a dozen supportive programs along with education to help residents in the real world.
