NEW BERLIN, Wis. (Civic Media) — Oshkosh may miss Miss Wisconsin. The Miss Wisconsin Competition is moving to New Berlin after 61 years in Oshkosh, organizers announced Tuesday.
The 2025 event will take place June 18-21 at the New Berlin West Performing Arts Center.
“We are excited about our partnership and possibilities of future events leading up to and including our competition,” said Executive Director Brenda Baudo. She thanked Oshkosh for its support over the years.
New Berlin Mayor Dave Ament welcomed the organization, stating “The West Performing Arts Center is a beautiful venue. Over the last couple of years, we have worked hard to bring more concerts and special events to it so that our community can enjoy this tremendous space. We are excited to team up with the Miss Wisconsin Organization and the City of New Berlin”
The competition features contestants vying for scholarships and the chance to represent Wisconsin at the Miss America pageant. Participants are judged on talent, evening wear, health and fitness, and interview skills.
Mandi Genord of Beaver Dam, the current Miss Wisconsin, and Ella Bey of Pewaukee, Miss Wisconsin’s Teen, will compete for national titles in Orlando, Florida, in January.
New Berlin has a history with the organization, producing four Miss Wisconsin winners in the past 25 years.
